Corporate design for a non-profit anti-slavery organization
OCT 2020 – FEB 2021
STUDENT PROJECT – Corporate Design, Illustration, Designmanual
Supervised by Prof. Indra Kupferschmid
In this corporate design project, we focused on creating a consistent visual identity for an organization. A fictional briefing informed us about a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating modern slavery, and they needed a brand identity. We had the freedom to choose the name and type of communication. The final deliverable of the project was a design manual that establishes and explains design decisions.
I decided on the name "unbroken," which signifies the ongoing issue of slavery and also serves as an invitation to break the chains of slavery. For my design, I focused on a dark blue color combined with a warm, glowing red that emerges from the darkness. The centerpiece of my design approach was illustrations related to the theme, aiming to raise awareness about the issue and further educate visitors on the website through infographics and personal stories.
In addition to the design manual, which provides detailed specifications for the logo, colors, and typography, I also created two posters, letterhead, business cards, and designs for the desktop and mobile versions of the website.
