Concept for a new type of Online Trade Fair

The new type of online trade fair, which I named “messami,” was developed in the project "What can be removed, what needs to be different?" The project focused on redesigning something existing or completely replacing old methods with something new that is more efficient, sustainable, or otherwise advantageous.
I explored trade fairs and how to digitize a trade fair visit as effectively as possible. As a result, I created website interface concepts for activities that visitors would expect at a physical trade fair.
The main features included:
Browsing and discovering new booths
Live events with chat functionality
Video archive of conference presentations
Question and answer platform
Live meetings in video chat for interviews
Integrated shop for each booth

Advertisement for the Project
For the final presentation of the project, a deliberately somewhat absurd promotional video was created to advertise the fictional trade fair website builder “messami”.
By simply scrolling, the booths are moved left/right. The navigation wheel at the bottom of the screen indicates the visitor's position.
The booths consist of static or animated tiles designed to give a first impression.
Each visitor is registered with their personal profile on the website and can access their account management through a side panel that unfolds at the edge of the page.
Other subpages can be accessed through a collapsible panel located on the opposite side of the screen.
A booth page welcomes the visitor with information and an overview of the featured products.
The video archive stores presentations and interviews for later viewing.
In the question and answer section, you have the opportunity to submit your own questions. Additionally, a selection of answered questions is displayed.
In the shop, you have the opportunity to order exclusive trade show items with selected signatures.
In the live meeting area, you can sign up for video chat interviews and follow current interviews.
In the live event section, you can watch presentations live and engage in chat discussions with other attendees.
